Jan Ullrich has been suspended for two years (meaning he loses his last two years racing results, starting 2005)… If we thought Contador and his 18months were too long to wait for a doping conviction, this is a reminder that the bureaucratic nightmare that is anti-doping can take much longer than that to come to a conclusion. Ulrich has been retired for 5 years for christ sake! Operation Puerto is still rumbling on…
